2025 Winter Climbing Competition

Join us all at Blue Swan Boulders to compete in the annual O-Town Throwdown – a public competition taking place on January 4th, 2025.

Get stoked for our Winter Comp and be sure to bring your A-Game. The O-Town Throwdown is the fourth iteration of our Winter citizens’ comp, welcoming competitors of all skill levels and locale.

The competition style follows the modified redpoint structure, where we are giving climber 3 hours of climbing to send the toughest boulders in the fewest attempts for their category.

You will have unlimited attempts for this time, but use your time wisely!

Participant Categories 

The competition is broken down into four different categories based off your range of abilities. Participants will self-select and submit their climbing grade during registration. You will then be placed into the categories as specified below:

Each category is represented across the Women’s, Men’s and Non-Binary Divisions. All ages welcome!

During registration, please select the division for the grade you can consistently send:

Recreation (V0-V2)

Intermediate (V3-V4)

Advanced (V5-V6)

Open (V7+)
